This class is designed to help you investigate and manage a collection of jumping off points to give your imagination a kick start into the wonderful fantasy world of mixed media collage.

Please note that even though there is a supply list presented here with specific brands, etc. you are by no means obligated to purchase or use the brands I use. I am a huge proponent of using what you have and making the best of it!!
No need to worry about supplies, I have dedicated an entire video in the class structure explaining and reviewing supplies.
Please review the list below to collect supplies before the class starts if that works better for you!
Supply List
- Paper – a mixed media paper heavy enough to handle both dry/wet media ideas HERE
- pencils – assortment for drawing/sketching
- Pens- I like roller ball and also a dip pen/with ink
- Paint Brushes – assorted ( the brushes you like to use)
- Assorted paints such as , watercolor, acrylic, or gouache
- Assorted papers for collage such as colored tissue paper, collected bits of found paper , etc.
- A fluid collage medium such as mod podge or a transparent matte medium ( fluid) , I like this one HERE
- Freezer Paper
- Oil Paint Pigment stick ( Black) I like R&F pigment sticks – find them HERE
- Any stamps or stencils you like to use for applying texture
- Access to computer /printer
OPTIONAL
- One large embroidery needle /vibrant embroidery floss ( one or two colors)
Getting Ready for the class
- Gather a collection of colored tissue paper and other bits of paper
- Gather images of human faces that speak to you
- Spend time looking at your world and understanding the different small things make you happy
