Each ceramic wall figure is individually sculpted by hand from a mid-fire clay body, giving it its own expression, personality, and beautifully imperfect form.

The richly layered surfaces are created using custom-mixed ceramic stains, hand-drawn details, and textures impressed from vintage crocheted textiles. These old patterns leave delicate traces in the clay—connecting the history of domestic handwork with a contemporary ceramic object.

Dimensional faces, sculpted arms, unexpected color, and intricate markings give each character a quiet presence all its own. No molds are used, and no two pieces will ever be exactly alike.

Designed to hang directly on the wall, this one-of-a-kind ceramic sculpture can be displayed alone as a small statement piece or grouped with paintings, drawings, and other treasured objects as part of an eclectic art wall.
